The pieces
Keychain (a.k.a. tag) โ the physical NFC keychain you tap.
Owner โ the person who claimed a keychain as theirs.
Emblem โ a keychain you’ve pinned on for keeps. Carry spares in your utility belt; hand them out freely.
Legend โ YOU. Your whole saga โ points, badges, rank โ across every keychain you’ve ever carried. Keychains move on; your Legend is forever. Save it with your email and it follows you.
Character โ your hero or villain persona (the “mask up” pick).
Alignment โ which side you’re on: Hero or Villain.
Distributor โ the person who handed a keychain out into the world; they get credit for the taps it earns.
Where you stand
Observer — you’ve tapped a keychain but haven’t claimed one yet. Grab your own to start playing.
Citizen — you’ve claimed a keychain but haven’t picked a character. You’re in the game — mask up to go Super.
Super — you’ve chosen a hero or villain character. Full powers: encounters and battles.
HQ — your home base: the card with your score, rank, board spot and keychain count, shown when you tap your own keychain.
Battle — when opposite sides clash you settle it with Rock-Paper-Scissors: Strike beats Trick, Trick beats Guard, Guard beats Strike. Winner takes the points.
Orphan — letting a keychain go to make room (you carry up to 4). Keychains are meant to flow — pass them on.
Moments

Bond โ the history you build with an ally, one team-up at a time.
Rally โ when a group of the same side gathers around one keychain.
๐ก๏ธ Alliance / Squad โ the rare thing a rally can become, once a group has truly proven its bond. Heroes forge a Super Squad; villains, a Sinister Syndicate.
