What we collect
Only what you choose to hand us: an optional first name, an optional email (just to keep your stats together across keychains), and the times keychains get tapped. That’s the whole list.
What we never do
We don’t track your location. When a keychain is tapped from outside Arizona, all we ever read is your phone’s time zone — never where you are. We don’t sell or share your info, we don’t run ads, and there are no hidden trackers. A couple of small cookies just keep the game from miscounting taps.
First names only
The public leaderboard only ever shows a first name or your chosen hero handle — never a last name, even if you type one. Rather stay anonymous? Tap “Keep my real name off the leaderboard” on the keychain card and you’ll show up as your character (or “A Masked Legend”). Names are also screened for inappropriate words.
For younger players & parents
The keychain game is meant for ages 13 and up, and it’s purely for fun — there’s nothing financial at stake in the points. We deliberately collect almost nothing. If your child has been playing and you’d like their name or email removed, just email Mike and it’s done, no questions asked.
